Welcome to the Web Site of the Bel Air High School Class of 1962 from Bel Air, Maryland. Our graduation class numbered about 306 young men and women who now live mostly on the east and west coasts of the United States, but also in Europe and Japan. We will be celebrating our 55th high school reunion the weekend beginning Friday, September 22, 2017 through Sunday, September 24, 2017. See
Reunion Weekend for details. We hope everyone will come to this reunion to see their old friends, make new ones and to celebrate their lives and families. Invitations will be mailed in April, 2017. Please bring along high school photos to share with our classmates.

The Arrow and the Song
Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

I shot an arrow in the air,
It fell to earth, I knew not where;
For, so swiftly it flew, the sight
Could not follow it in its flight.

I breathed a song into the air,
It fell to earth, I knew not where;
For who has sight so keen and strong,
That it can follow the flight of song?

Long, long afterward, in an oak
I found the arrow, still unbroke;
And the song, from beginning to end,
I found again in the heart of a friend.
